HALT is excited to announce that we are the recipients of a Westpac Foundation Community grant of $10,000.
HALT exists to save lives and build the bridge between the tradie community and both local and national support services through powerful educational talks that raise awareness and break through the stigma attached to mental health, suicide prevention and the tough, masculine tradie culture. Our focus is on men in regional and rural Australia. We will use this grant money for our ‘Save your Bacon’ events in hardware stores in Ballarat, Warrnambool and Colac. We’ll also be hold events at TAFEs in the same areas to reach the vulnerable apprentices and staff.
HALT thanks the Westpac Foundation for their ongoing support of the critical work we undertaking in the community.
