Today we thought we’d share the Head to Health website from the Australian Department of Health, which brings together a range of trusted mental health services, including apps, online and phone services. It’s worth a look if you’d like to improve your own mental health, or help someone you care about.
The page on COVID-19 support has some great tips on what you can do for your mental health at this time. Things like keeping informed (via trusted sources, e.g. the World Health Organisation website), creating routines and giving yourself permission to have some time off social media each day. (It’s tough, we know! But the information overload can be overwhelming, even at the best of times.)
We hope that you are coping well in the current circumstances, and remember: this will pass and things will return to normal. We’re also going to be uploading to the HALT youtube channel more regularly now that we have less HALT events happening, so keep in touch.
