Recently HALT Co-Founder Jeremy Forbes had the opportunity to be interviewed by Shane Jacobson in a Romsey barber shop as part of the ‘Cut the Silence’ campaign in the Macedon Ranges.
‘Cut the Silence’ is aimed at the local barbers in the Macedon Ranges who often have conversations with people who come in for a haircut and who may notice a difference in that person.
HALT worked with Macedon Ranges Suicide Prevention Action Group to deliver ‘Conversations for Life’ training to the barbers to help them with the tough conversation they might find themselves having if they are concerned for one of their customers.
